I have the Kershaw Shallot (also Ken Onion) with a beautiful damascus blade. Kershaw Assisted Opening Damascus Shallot Pocket Knife We bought this Leek as a Christmas gift for my father in law. He loves it. As expected, it was sharp as a razor, right out of the box. Fit and function was well done, and he loves the Speed Safe opening feature. This was a great product at a good price.

I carry this with me on a keychain and it is infinitely handy. It has a clip on the side so you can also carry it safely in a pocket. It’s very solidly built and is very sharp. I have a good feeling this knife is going to be my #1 choice for a very long time.

5 Stars Wonderful tools for camping.
I have had a set of Kershaw knives for years that I have used for camping, and boating. They are professional quality knives with a very ingenious handle system. Once you put the knife on the handle, you would not know it is two pieces. The knives come very sharp, hold an edge well and sharpen easily. They do not corrode or tarnish. The utensils are very sturdy, large enough to stir huge pots of food and flip full sized pancakes. I love it so much that I just bought another set as a gift. I have tried other knife/tool sets and this is by far the best. Would highly recommend this to anyone who likes to camp, hunt, fish, boat.

5 Stars Lightweight but strong and practical.
This is one of my all time favorite knives. It has a very lightweight (but quite strong) plastic handle, so you can easily carry it in your pocket all day. The assisted opening is very reliable. The shape feels good in your hand. And the serrations make short work of cutting tasks.

4 Stars a good every day knife
I carry this knife as my daily use knife. I wear it with dress pants and with jeans, and it does not draw attention to itself. I work in a professional environment where carrying a knife would be looked at askance- but this slips into my pocket and is unobtrusive in a way that a knife with more tools on it would not. It is sleek, black, and subtle. Until I take it out to pop open a box or something like that, no one even notices it.

The speed stub is reversible, which is good for me as a left hander. What is not reversible is the clip- so when I take it out of my pocket, I still have to flip the knife over. That’s the only real draw back of this knife. That would move it from four to five stars if they had just drilled holes on the reverse for me to move the clip.

The blade holds a edge, and sharpens up well. The tooth edge I haven’t had much use for, but I am glad it is there.
