Cold Steel Rajah II Md 62KG

Cold Steel Rajah II, The Rajah folders, designed by Andrew Demko, are big enough to approximate the feel and heft a fixed blade Kukri. Their broad, downward curved blades exhibit the best of a Kukris characteristics. First, their unique shape presents their thin, hollow ground edges at just the right angle so they naturally bite deep instead of bouncing or skidding off. And secondly their points are thick, wide and sharp enough to pierce even the toughest targets. The handle has some of the contours of fixed blade Kukris with the addition of strategically placed curves and finger grooves. These features will facilitate 3 grip styles. The only suitable lock that can sustain the incredible impact forces generated by chopping strokes with a Rajah folder is our new Tri-Ad lock. Designed specifically to take pressure off the smaller, more fragile interlocking surfaces of a rocker lock and transfer them to a uniquely positioned stop pin that will absorb and distribute these forces through the handle frame. The Rajah II is truly a custom quality knife. Its handle frame and integral bolsters are CNC machined from a 7075 Aluminum billet to secure the black G-10 handle scales. And its built tough enough to endure countless hours of hard, brutal work. Specifications: – Blade: 6″ – Overall: 14″ – Weight: 12.7 oz. – Thick: 5.3mm, Mfg No: 62KG, Manufacturer: Cold Steel

I am an avid knife collector and train with edged weapons. It may sound crazy, but this blade has become a daily carry for me. It may seem large and cumbersome for pcket carry, but I have become accustomed to it. Its pocket catch allows for rapid opening and easy blade presentation. The sheer size is a great deterrant in and of itself. This knife can take a beating and still comes out as a tough customer. Five stars!
